“Genomic approaches to epidemiology and diagnostics of antimicrobial-resistant pathogens”

Dr. Tatum Mortimer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Health at the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She earned her PhD in Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017 and completed her postdoctoral research fellowship at Harvard’s T. H. Chan School of Public Health in 2023. Dr. Mortimer’s lab focuses on antimicrobial resistant pathogens in human and animal populations. Read more about her research here: https://mortimerlab.com/.
