Biography
Camila da Silva is an Immunology Scientist specialized in neglected tropical diseases. She earned one of her PhD degrees from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she has built her academic and research career. da Silva worked as a Biotechnology course coordinator and instructor at World ORT for four years in Brazil. At the University of Georgia she worked as a post-doctoral researcher in Immunology of Malaria for five years.
Currently, at the University of Georgia, Dr. da Silva serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology within the College of Veterinary Medicine.
