Assistant Professor
Dr. Destiny Prezzano is a small animal general practitioner with over 20 years of experience. She has mentored new veterinarians through her role as a practice owner, and this has led to her passion for veterinary education. She joined the faculty at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024 and serves as the surgical laboratory coordinator and instructor for our veterinary students.
Dr. Prezzano follows the students through their surgical laboratory curriculum and teaches in the Community Practice Pet Health Center rotation during their clinical year. She has a special interest in surgical instruction and progressive skill development in veterinary students to enhance their surgical proficiency upon graduation.
