Research Interests
Dr. Oluwayinka is interested in understanding the genomic and molecular mechanisms underlying pathogen virulence, host adaptation, transmission, persistence, and antimicrobial resistance. Her work also focuses on developing and applying whole-genome sequencing, comparative genomics, molecular diagnostics, and strain-specific assays to improve pathogen surveillance and disease control in poultry.
