Medical Illustrator
Biography
Jenna received her BFA in Painting from Southwestern University’s Sarofim School of Fine Arts, in Texas, in 2012. Over the next few years, she wore many different creative hats within the advertising and commercial print worlds. After spending time volunteering in local conservation efforts, she realized that science was the missing link in her professional journey and began making the transition to medical illustration. She received her Medical Art MSc from the University of Dundee, in Scotland, in 2022, and joined the ERC shortly thereafter as a graduate assistant in the Certificate of Comparative Medical Illustration program. Her illustration practice is driven by a desire to inspire curiosity and encourage learning about the natural world by making science more accessible and relatable for all.
