Clinical Interests

Dr. Garcia’s teaching and clinical work emphasize preventive care, internal medicine, and emergency service for small ruminants, camelids, cattle, and pigs, with a focus in smallholder and hobby farms as well as companion farm animals.

Dr. Garcia’s research focuses on advancing large-animal welfare through the lens of veterinary pharmacology.
