Assistant Research Scientist

Biography

Dr. Kyungmin Kim’s research integrates molecular and translational approaches to better understand skeletal muscle aging and disease and to develop new therapeutic strategies for muscle disorders.

Education

  • PhD, Cell Biology, Korea University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, 2020
  • BS, Life Sciences, Korea University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, 2012

Research Interests

Dr. Kyungmin Kim’s research focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying skeletal muscle aging and disease, particularly the regulation of muscle regeneration, the pathogenesis of muscular dystrophy, inflammasome signaling, and the impact of environmental toxicants on skeletal muscle function.
