Biography
Linhao Xu, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Infectious Diseases. Trained as a theoretical and computational ecologist, her research integrates mathematical modeling, computational simulations, and spatial analysis to understand complex ecological and biological systems.
Her previous research focused on invasive species, biological control, species interactions, and vegetation dynamics, including postdoctoral research at the University of California, Davis. At UGA, she applies quantitative and computational approaches to investigate infectious disease dynamics, with a particular interest in the ecological and spatial processes influencing disease transmission and spread.
