Biography
Educational Background
Lucyanne Megan received her BS in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2017 and her DVM from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2021. She stayed on at Tufts to complete a one-year Zoological Companion Animal Medicine/Emergency and Critical Care Internship, followed by a three-year Zoological Companion Animal Medicine and Surgery Residency at the University of California, Davis. She joined UGA as an Assistant Professor of Zoological Medicine in 2025. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Zoological Medicine.
