Biography

After completing her DVM training at the University of Georgia in 2018, Dr. Mackenzie Long received her PhD and veterinary clinical pathology boards certification while training at The Ohio State University. Dr. Long is passionate about enhancing veterinary oncology diagnostics and treatment. She is particularly interested in better characterizing and targeting resistance to standard treatment protocols in canine lymphoma and bladder cancer patients. When not at work, Dr. Long enjoys traveling and spending time with her two mini poodles, Emma and Brûlée, and her two cats, Darwin and Cousteau.
