Lecturer

Biography

Dr. Nakhla completed medical school in 2015 and went on to conduct research with Mercer University before beginning full-time teaching at the college level in 2016. His passion for teaching is helping students connect the dots and build the skill set needed to logically work through new material. He has a deep passion for physiology and the disease states that affect the human body’s normal function.

Outside of teaching, Dr. Nakhla and his wife enjoy cooking (he considers himself a smoked-foods master) and spending time with their two pups. He also enjoys going to Road Atlanta, where he can be found blasting around the track and making his passengers feel a little nauseous.

He hopes to show his students how fun physiology can really be!
