Research Interests

  • Neurodegenerative Disease Diagnostics. Developing magnetic nanoparticle-based approaches to detect neurodegenerative changes in neurons, with a focus on early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.
  • Targeted Nanomedicine and Therapeutics. Developing polymer-based and hybrid nanoparticles for targeted treatments, including cancer therapy, obesity management, neurodegenerative disease treatment, and non-surgical spaying and neutering.
  • Nanomaterials Engineering and Scalable Synthesis. Designing microfluidic device platforms for mass production of nanoparticles, alongside fabricating functional nanomaterials via physical and chemical methods.
