Seminar: Christopher Cleveland

“Worming a Way into One Health”
Dr. Christopher Cleveland is an Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Population Health, the Southeastern Cooperative Wildlife Disease Study. His work focuses on parasite life-cycles using field collections and classical parasitological and modern molecular techniques. Dr. Cleveland has collaborated with the Carter Center and the Guinea Worm Eradication Program in Chad and Ethiopia, Africa on Guinea worm eradication efforts in wildlife and domestic animals. He earned his PhD in wildlife ecology and management with a focus on parasitology and a master’s degree in veterinary and biomedical sciences from UGA.
