Dr. Petros Karakousis is a Professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the School of Medicine at Washington University-St. Louis in 1998 and completed his residency in internal medical at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 2001.  Dr. Karakousis’ research focuses on tuberculosis, HIV, and host-pathogen interactions.
