Be part of the future of the UGA CVM

Student ambassadors are the face of the CVM! Ambassadors assist with recruitment, outreach and other College-related activities, helping to connect the CVM to the community. For UGA CVM requests to work with our Ambassadors, please complete the Request form here.

Ambassadors will have the opportunity to travel, meet College leaders, expand communication and leadership skills, meet potential students, and network with alumni. Current DVM students who possess strong interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, and sense of school spirit and pride are selected as student ambassadors. There is an application and interview process for this program. First-year and second-year DVM students are eligible to apply for the 2024 Ambassador Program Application and Interview cycle.

Students who are interested to apply for the 2024 Ambassador Program should complete the 2025 Ambassador Program Application by Monday, January 1, 2024. To learn more about how to be an ambassador, an info session will be provided in late November. To sign-up for the info session and submit questions in advance to the ambassador panel, students should complete the 2025 Ambassador Interest form. While the in-person info session has high priority, students who have an excusable conflict with the in-person meeting can signup for an alternative Zoom meeting, if the excuse has been approved by the Ambassador Advisors. However, alternative Zoom meetings will not be offered until after the in-person meeting has passed.
