Student ambassadors are the face of the CVM! Ambassadors assist with recruitment, outreach and other College-related activities, helping to connect the CVM to the community. For UGA CVM requests to work with our Ambassadors, please complete the Request form here.
Ambassadors will have the opportunity to travel, meet College leaders, expand communication and leadership skills, meet potential students, and network with alumni. Current DVM students who possess strong interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, and sense of school spirit and pride are selected as student ambassadors. First-year DVM students are eligible to apply for the 2026-2027 Ambassador Program Application and Interview cycle.
Students who are interested to apply for the 2027 Ambassador Program should complete the 2027 Ambassador Program Application by Friday, December 18, 2026. To learn more about how to be an ambassador, an info session will be provided in early November. To sign-up for the info session and submit questions in advance to the ambassador panel, students should complete the 2027 Ambassador Interest form. While the in-person info session has high priority, students who have an excusable conflict with the in-person meeting can signup for an alternative Zoom meeting, if the excuse has been approved by the Ambassador Advisors. However, alternative Zoom meetings will not be offered until after the in-person meeting has passed.Â
Timeline for the Ambassador Program Application & Interview Cycle:
- Early November – Info Session & Interest Form
- Early November – Application is released
- Late December – Application is closed
- Early-to-Mid January – Interviews
- Late January – Decision is released & Training Form must be complete
