Get a glimpse of what it takes to become a veterinarian

Vet School for a Day will be hosted in Fall 2023.

What is Vet School for a Day?

Vet School for a Day is designed for high school juniors and seniors in Georgia and South Carolina who are seriously interested in preparing for, and getting into, vet school.

The goal of VSFD is to educate students who have a keen interest in the many career opportunities that exist in veterinary medicine. The annual program is typically held in September and includes a tour of the UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital, meetings with faculty & students from different areas of interest, and an admissions overview. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from our students and alumni on their career paths and experiences. Our office is expanding the VSFD program to include virtual options.
