We feel very fortunate that we have been able to establish a relationship with the UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Our daughter is a swine veterinarian, practicing in North Carolina, and she made the referral for us to UGA. We had a pinkeye outbreak in our herd of cattle and were having a hard time getting it under control. Dr. Brent Credille came out and advised us on how to treat the pinkeye in addition to making other suggestions to improve the overall health of our herd.
Having a member of your field services team mentor our herd management program is one of the best decisions we have made in our new cattle operation. Having a mobile service is certainly a tremendous asset to your organization. The experience onsite was beyond our expectations. A month later, we had a cow develop an abscess and had to bring it into the Hospital for treatment. This experience also went extremely well, and we look forward to a continued relationship with the UGA VTH.
