GVDL’s – Price Increase – Effective January 4, 2022

Valued Clients,
At the Georgia Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratories (GVDLs) in Athens and Tifton, we periodically perform a cost analysis to ensure we meet our expenses. We are priced to meet our operating expenditures, to account for inflation and to cover the increase in supply and labor expenses. We price our services fairly and competitively for our customers, while providing the highest quality and accuracy.
We make every effort to keep pricing affordable for you and your clients. However, a fee increase is needed to offset markedly increased operational costs over the last 18 months. Effective January 4, 2022, most test fees will increase by 5% rounded to the nearest $0.50, while fees for non-food/fiber animal necropsies, laboratory animal necropsies, biopsy, and cytology services will increase by 10%.
We are committed to providing high quality, efficient and affordable services to our veterinary clients, the livestock industry, and researchers throughout Georgia and the world. We encourage you to take advantage of our wide range of service options including our online catalog to find testing options, our portal to view results in real time, and consultation with microbiology and pathology specialists.
Thank you for continuing to choose the Georgia Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratories for your testing needs. We greatly appreciate your business!
