Jamie Martin and Susie Tamasi are lovers of music, travel, and animals, especially their pets. They currently live in Atlanta with their cat, Rza. They have been loyal clients of the UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital for over a decade, coming for many specialized visits and emergency care.
Jamie tells us, “UGA CVM has saved our family’s lives so many times. I think I’ve driven from Atlanta to Athens 100 times. It’s usually a sobering drive out, and often a grateful ride home. The level of care is extremely high, from the admitting staff to the specialists, and everyone in between. We know we’re fortunate to afford excellent care. We also know how difficult the veterinary career is. We want to help ensure UGA CVM continues to grow and help others as they’ve helped us. It’s a wonderful opportunity to help an organization with a lot of heart and exceptional skills to care for our companions.”
Jamie and Susie are dedicated to veterinary medicine, which is why they’ve chosen to include the college in their estate plans and future philanthropy.
