Bear Hollow Zoo is a hidden gem in the Athens-Clarke County community. It houses various animals that are naturally found in Georgia. Dr. Nicole Northrup has been named director of the University of Georgia’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital. A board-certified specialist in veterinary oncology, Northrup has served as interim director of the VTH for the past year.
