The Summer 2026 Issue of The Aesculapian – Out Now

The Summer 2026 issue of The Aesculapian, the magazine of the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine, is now available in print and online.

In this issue, get to know the vets keeping UGA’s animal athletes game-day ready in “Championship Care,” and step into the lab with the VetMed researchers cracking the case on tuberculosis, malaria, influenza, and COVID-19 in “Disease Detectives.”

The issue also profiles some of the people and patients who make UGA VetMed what it is: a graphic designer-turned-vet, a critical care specialist who thrives under pressure, a tenacious puppy saved by a novel heart procedure, and a recent grad’s path to join the family business.
