UGA’s College of Veterinary Medicine is working with Dalan Animal Health to conduct field trials on the world’s first ever bee vaccine. Our college is proud to house the most robust veterinary bee health program for in the country. Students start learning how to treat these vital creatures during their first year of vet school with the UGA Honey Bee Vet Club, and by year 4 will have over 60 hours of bee education and clinics culminating in receiving a certificate in Apiary Health.
