What to Expect

Upon arrival, you and your pet will be met by one of our senior veterinary students who will gather your pet’s medical history and conduct a thorough physical examination. The student will then consult with one of our clinicians who is in charge of your pet’s medical care and will provide suggestions and guidance. A care plan along with a cost estimate is then developed and presented to you.

Our team approach ensures that your pet receives the highest-quality care possible, however it also means that your appointment may take longer than it would at a traditional primary care clinic, so please plan accordingly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make an appointment?

Just call us during our normal business hours, and we will be happy to make an appointment for you. You do not need a referral from another veterinarian to utilize our community practice clinic services.

Who will be caring for my pet(s)?

Your pet(s) will be cared for by a talented and diverse team that consists of a licensed and experienced veterinarian, a senior veterinary student (who will typically serve as your main point of contact), highly trained veterinary nurses, and clinic staff members. We are passionate about what we do, and that shows in the excellent veterinary care that we provide.

Are your services discounted?

While part of our mission is to train the next generation of veterinarians, the veterinary services we offer are overseen by licensed and experienced practitioners. Our clinic is a self-sustaining unit that operates similarly to other private veterinary clinics and has full-time staff members. To offset these costs, our services are competitively priced with other primary care practices and are not discounted.

Payment is due in full at the conclusion of your appointment. To receive a cost estimate, please call our clinic at (706) 542-1984.
